Reflections on 01 June 24

Today is the Toastmasters International District 80 Division D Achiever's Day!

We had fun celebrating the term 2023/2024 with games, workshop, awards & a handover to the next leader for term 2024/2025.

In the workshop, our speaker gave insights on how a club was chartered , how a club was run just between 2 person, how the club charted had survived its ups & downs till now. Its a never easy journey running a club. His insights was spot on and most importantly, he is a hilarious speaker showing how to incorporate humor in public speaking.

with the handover, its a 90% work done for the current team.

The learnings is that running a club is never easy but with perseverance, good succession planning, quality meetings, bonding between members, the club is ready for the long run!

Lets work towards term 2024/2025!
